The smooth white porcelain body and hand painted designs invoke the passion of great sculptors and master painters in every piece manufactured for over 180 years by the Herend Porcelain Manufactory of Hungary. 

Chanticleer, introduced in the 1930s, is based on a similar Herend pattern owned by Belgian royalty. The colorful roosters are available in four different motifs. A blue maker’s mark is present to the bottom of the teapot reading Herend Hungary, Hand painted, 2011.
